Sunday Stills "Coffee/Tea Cups"

The Sunday Stills challenge is to take a photo of our coffee or tea cups. "Everyone enjoys a good cup of Joe or Tea in the morning, so what is your favorite mug or cup?"

Here are a few antique china tea cups that are in my corner china cabinet.

They were from my Grandma Ruth, whose name is very special to me,

so I adore this cup.

My pretty, special cups,

and my horsey cup, that matches my cookie jar and cutting board. I just love the look of the mares and babies.

My large cup, when I need a lot of coffee,

and my 2 every day cups, with coffee stains!

The dishwasher just doesn't take those stains off. I do try to hand wash them about once a month! lol

Wonderful selection of cups, especially the pretty china cups. Nice pics, too.

Just a tip: I've had good luck using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for coffee and tea stains and I sometimes even use a pet dish scrubber that is in the shape of a bone (it worked great for the pet dishes, so I bought another one for the humans. lol!). It too does an awesome job removing all the stains.

I love the collection of old cups. The horse ones are done by Alberta artist Bernie Brown, the picture is called Young and Restless; I have it on my shower curtain. I have a Bernie Brown cutting board too; it's "Future of the Herd" with a galloping group of young horses.

your grand na's ,you better not use but keeo them in a glass cabinet. I know a real story. i just told my young friend when she said was her grand ma's she said, it is meant to me used. next, a kid comes to brush off his mum's hand. The cup tumbles down and the set has one cup less.

Pretty pictures. I have the same blue cup that's by your coffee pot. I'm drinking out of it right now!
