This week's challenge for Sunday Still's is potluck. We were to take some new pics of something fun and interesting. Shoot...I thought it was about food. I had made the perfect dish last night. Deep dish lasagna in the roaster. Oh my, it looked great, with a layer of mozzarella cheese on top. But, I forgot to take a picture of it! 6 hungry people, mouths watering, devoured my lasagna within minutes. I'm sure they were hungry from working outside in the mid 60 degree sunny day. A little cooler day, as we had 7o's all week! Here were some pics of our day.
We cleaned up the tree area of fallen limbs. My hubby carried brush to the fire.
My parents were visiting from PA. At the ripe old age of 82, my dad kept up with us!
Friends came out to get a pickup load of manure. The horses watched! And they were close to the fire.
and didn't care!
The horses wanted to know what was in the back of the truck!
Then our grandson, Caden, came to visit with us,
and his Great Grandparents.
and Pop rested on the grass!
I tried to give him a drink from my container, while Great-Grandma and Grandpa's dog, Cassie, watched.
I loved Caden's sunglasses! Cool man!

Awww! Caden is a cute lil munchkin! Looks like a great day with family and inquisitive horses, and grandpa probably is able to keep up because he has all of you to support him and keep him active...and feed him delicious homemade lasagne, too. lol!

thanks everyone. Saturday was a fun, busy day! The horses weren't even spooked when the fire got huge! The best part of the day was seeing Caden with sunglasses on. that makes me laugh every time I see that picture!

Tammy, the buckskin is a 2 year old filly that I sold to my one lesson student. She looks bigger in that picture than she actually is - she's long and lean, but about 14.2 already.
