This week's challenge of Sunday Stills is "Looking High, Looking Low".
Hubby and I visited the Grand Canyon for the first time 2 weeks ago. I didn't get any closer than 3' from the edge. I'll be posting more photos on my blog , Horses Are Our Lives, later this week. I hope you come visit. I'd love to read your comments.
Hubby got close to the overhangs all the time. Not me!
My son was helping to paint the other son's house. He went really high to paint under the peak.
Looking up through the roof of a wooden awning.

Spectacular!!! You nailed it this week!
Great shots! I would not go closer than 3 feet to the edge either. Love the ladder shot too.
Nice shots, like the Grand Canyon, only flew over it.
I like all of these and hope you had fun at the Canyon even 3' from the edge! :)
HI Brenda, that first shot is amazing. Been to the Grand Canyon w/ the kids and hubby, it's awesome!
I'll come by this week to see you other photos, have a great week.
That first shot is just unbelievable! The Grand Canyon is such a breathtaking place, wow!
thanks everyone. I should have said that we were looking a mile straight down! I don't have any trouble looking "out" over heights, but I have a really huge problem looking "over" edges or straight down.
Cool lighthouse, but the first Grand Canyon pic is hard to beat!
superb shots, all of them!
I think climbing to the top of the light house is a neat experience.
Looking down the canyon views at the edge is quite scary.
Oh, I LOVE the Grand Canyon, even though I don't usually go out to the edge! I did, however, on our last trip and loved it and I have a fear of heights! I was just so busy taking photos, it really didn't bother me!
I'd love to see Grand Canyon but I wouldn't get too close to the edge either. I love the lighthouse!
