Sunday Stills "4 Points"

Our Sunday Still's challenge is this: Find an interesting or not so interesting place and stand and take pics of the 4 points of the compass. North, South, East and West. The point of this challenge is that we have a tendency to only look in one direction when taking pics. For instance, photographing a sunset you rarely look behind you to see the setting sun light up a barn or hillside ot beside you to notice the shadows created by the trees or other objects… Have fun..:-) This is at a friend's farm in Kansas, where I am at this weekend for a Centered Riding clinic. To the west, the beautiful sunset.

To the south is the pond and a distant barn.

The paddocks and barn are east.

and the pasture is to the north.

and back to the beautiful sunset. The sunset was so much prettier about a 1/2 hour earlier, and I didn't have my camera then!
