Sunday Stills "Your Camera and Gear"

Sunday Still's challenge this week is "Your Camera and Gear".

The only gear I have is the camera bag, and I forgot to take a pic of it.

My camera, a Canon Powershot SX10

Close up of me taking a pic of my camera.

I took a pic in the mirror. Notice the reverse lettering on the camera.

I'm thinking about a Nikon D90, but it's might be a little more than I can afford. I'm thinking of a Canon Rebel T2, instead of a Nikon, for the 18 megapixels. Would it be better to do a Nikon instead of a Canon, even if megapixels are less, but $ is the same? thoughts? thanks!

Nice shot, don't focus on the megapixels, you make the shot. Look at ease of use and what you want to use it for. Is it easy to transfer your photos to your computer? Does it have versatility? Would you use all of the settings? How does it feel in your hands. Good luck with the search.

I'm a Canon fan......and would like a 5D full frame but I think I'm dreaming.

Nice shots. Picking a good camera is soooo hard! My suggestion is to choose based on what you plan on using it for, and of course can afford. Ask around, but know that most recommend what they own. Check out www.dpreview.com/ after I did all that, I compared the camera's in question side-by-side in person, to get a feel for them. Best of luck!
