15" of snow was the total of the snows that came since Monday, after blizzard conditions Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
The fields were covered where the wind didn't blow the snow away.
Even though the horses were covered in snow, they were busily eating hay to keep warm.
35 mph winds made the horse's water tanks freeze over, even with water heaters in them.
Even with the extreme cold, the horses were feeling frisky in the early morning.

Your photo of the snow laden fir tree is beautiful. Thirty five miles per hour winds are horrible in the winter. I sure hope you all kept warm.
