Macro Monday "TURTLE"

Macro Monday is what?
Can you guess what this is?

Try again!

Is this better?

Now you can guess!

Looking for barns to take photos of for Sunday Stills, this guy was going across the road.

We went up and down this country road about 6 times, trying to beat the rain. The last time we drove up the road, heading home, he was cruising across the road. As soon as we got close to him, he pulled in his tail, turned and faced us, and never blinked nor moved. I wouldn't want to get caught in that mouth of his!

Sunday Stills "BARNS"

This week's Sunday Still's challenge is Barns. We drove late Saturday afternoon to take photos of some of the old barns in the area. It always amazes me that some people let their barns fall down, literally! The rain caught up to us, and the last show is of the barn during a pouring rain! I really like that shot!

look carefully, there is a barn there...

An old barn,

Another, really old, barn,

This is not a newer barn. This is an old barn that was renovating about 15 years ago:

The rain started. I love this shot, in the pouring rain.

Macro Monday "Azalea"

This week's Macro Monday is of our Azalea bushes. They have beautiful blooms. The blooms are so pretty and I couldn't decide on which one was my favorite!

Sunday Still's "POTLUCK"

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Ed, Happy Birthday to you!!!

This week's challenge for Sunday Still's is potluck. We were to take some new pics of something fun and interesting. Shoot...I thought it was about food. I had made the perfect dish last night. Deep dish lasagna in the roaster. Oh my, it looked great, with a layer of mozzarella cheese on top. But, I forgot to take a picture of it! 6 hungry people, mouths watering, devoured my lasagna within minutes. I'm sure they were hungry from working outside in the mid 60 degree sunny day. A little cooler day, as we had 7o's all week! Here were some pics of our day.

We cleaned up the tree area of fallen limbs. My hubby carried brush to the fire.

My parents were visiting from PA. At the ripe old age of 82, my dad kept up with us!

Friends came out to get a pickup load of manure. The horses watched! And they were close to the fire.

and didn't care!

The horses wanted to know what was in the back of the truck!

Then our grandson, Caden, came to visit with us,

and his Great Grandparents.

and Pop rested on the grass!

I tried to give him a drink from my container, while Great-Grandma and Grandpa's dog, Cassie, watched.

I loved Caden's sunglasses! Cool man!

Sunday Still's "HANDS"

Sunday Still's challenge this week is "Hands". I was walking toward the horse trailer, the sun was setting, and I caught the image of my shadow. I really like that shot. The other 2 are of my hands. Seeing them makes me look older than I feel! lol

Sunday Still's "EASTER"

This week's Sunday Still's challenge is what makes you think of Easter or how you celebrate Easter. We are visiting our granddaughter, Makenzie, and her parents, in Colorado. This is what will make me think of Easter this year.

Makenzie

Makenzie's bunny and basket

The bunny is almost as big as she is!

Time to cuddle.

But Makenzie fell asleep before she could color Easter Eggs with us!

I love this Silhouette of her face!

Praise the Lord, He is Risen. Christ is here. Jesus is with us every day.

Macro Monday "WEEDS"

While shotting pictures for Sunday Stills this week, I can't believe that the weeds are already this high! Especially since we haven't seen anything green until last week!

Sunday Stills A Day in the Life

This week's Sunday Stills is A Day in the Life. We are to "pick a day in the upcoming week and take your camera with you, no archives. Take and post no more than 4 pics during the day that show how you spend the day. For some this will be a breeze and for others you may have to go out and do something. Just remember no more than 4 pics and no archives..:-))"

I feed the dogs and cats,

I fill water tanks,

I feed horses,

and I will soon be mowing down these weeks!
