Sunday Stills "Landscapes"
For Sunday Stills, our challenge is Landscapes. I'm at the Calvin Center (www.calvincenter.org) in Hampton, Georgia this week, participating in a AAHS (American Assoiciation of Horsemanship Safety) clinic. Check their website out at www.horsemanshipsafety.com.
I will also be teaching some Centered Riding (www.centeredriding.org) exercises in a group lesson to volunteers and riders at the center.
Enjoy the view of their horses and area. I'll be posting some more pics all week on my other blog, Horses Are Our Lives.

Macro Monday "Beagle Puppies"
This week's Macro Monday is a photo of our brand new Beagle Puppies. Born last Saturday, very late, Mom Daisy almost had them on Mother's Day! I couldn't resist showing them off, even though they are not quite macro shots! I'll do a close-up shot for next Monday!

Sunday Stills "CONTROLS"
This week's Sunday Stills challenge is "Controls". Ed says "By controls I mean anything used to turn on or control a non-living device, knobs, switches, keypads, buttons, you get the idea, I hope." My photos would be some things that control parts of my horse trailer.
This hitch on the truck controls the horse trailer:

This trailer plug controls the brakes and lights on the horse trailer:

This knob controls the propane for the heat in the horse trailer, and I definitely need this one to work!

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow
My hair is the longest it has been since high school, many, many moons ago! 3 1/2 years ago, I didn't cut it as winter was approaching and I always leave it go longer, so I have insulation over my neck. Nebraska winters can be frigid! Then 3 years ago, our son was getting married, and hubby, Tom, suggested I wait until after his wedding to cut it short for summer. Then....after the wedding, hubby Tom made another suggestion. Why not keep it a little longer and put it up under a cap when you are outside. Well, ok. It would be nice to have a little style to my hair again. Another year passed, and it was passed my shoulder blades. Then this spring, it was to my waist. I wanted my hair left just a little longer when she cut it, but it will grow again.
On Wednesday morning, this is what I looked like:
On Wednesday afternoon, it went to this:
I had 15 1/2" cut off and donated to Locks of Love. While styling, she cut another 2". A total of 17"! WOW!!!
