Sunday Stills "Self Pics"

The Sunday Still's next challenge is Self Pics.

"It's that time to see the blogger behind the blog. Your pic, the only difference between this on and last years is this year someone else can take your pic but with your camera. So, smile and lets meet the blogger behind the blog."

My hubby tooks these first 3 pics with my camera.

Here it is, me, without my glasses,

my side profile with glasses,


Now, it's time to put on my cap and feed horses,

But I wanted to include pics of my horses, too. So, I got out of bed early this morning and left hubby sleep. He's probably all stretched out on my side of the bed, staying warm, while I went out and feed dogs, cats, and horses.

Sunday Stills "High Tech/Low Tech"

The Sunday Stills challenge is High Tech/Low Tech.

The picture must contain one old school item next to a new high tech item, for instance a dial phone next to a cell phone.

My GPS I used for tracking my horseback riding distance and time, and a phonebook may of roads.

Garmin and maps,

Tape player, CD player, and Direct TV,

Tapes and CD's,

Computer word processing and paper and pencil,

and the old school with a computer,

I bought these old desks at an auction years ago, and my hubby reminded me of them. I loved his idea! Now, the grandbabies can play school in a couple of years! But I forgot to put paper and pencil next to the computer! The difference in writing a report was the high tech/low tech idea that I had, and I missed displaying half of it! So I re-did my post this morning!

Sunday Stills "Coffee/Tea Cups"

The Sunday Stills challenge is to take a photo of our coffee or tea cups. "Everyone enjoys a good cup of Joe or Tea in the morning, so what is your favorite mug or cup?"

Here are a few antique china tea cups that are in my corner china cabinet.

They were from my Grandma Ruth, whose name is very special to me,

so I adore this cup.

My pretty, special cups,

and my horsey cup, that matches my cookie jar and cutting board. I just love the look of the mares and babies.

My large cup, when I need a lot of coffee,

and my 2 every day cups, with coffee stains!

The dishwasher just doesn't take those stains off. I do try to hand wash them about once a month! lol

Sunday Stills "Meal Time"

The Sunday Stills challenge this week is "Meal Time". "The pic has to have at least 3 different foods in the pic".

Football weekend, aren't they all? This is what my husband had. He thought the pepsi should have been replaced with a beer! lol I wanted to do Pork Chops and Pork Fried Rice, but this was easier! He ate a lot more chips than what was posted! And we added the pickles since we had to have 3 different foods!

(Did you know that you should eat a dill pickle when you have a sore throat, as the vinegar will kill the bacteria that is causing the soreness? It works! And if you have a cough, take a tablespoon of vinegar mixed with honey, the vinegar helps with the sore throat and the honey coats the throat for the cough.)

Did everyone remember to turn their clocks back? An extra hour of sleep!
