Sunday Stills "Potluck with a Purpose"

This week's Sunday Stills Challenge is "Potluck with a Purpose".  We are to pay more attention to the anglethat we are taking a shot from.  Some photos could be cropped to make better, or not.

Today, our soon-to-be 3 year old grandson, Caden, came to spend the day. He loves his Pop's tractor. Grandma has a tractor, too, and he knows the difference.

We have an old lawnmower that he loves to climb on and pretend to turn on and mow. I tried to keep him off of it early this summer, when he was 6 months younger, to keep him from getting hurt. To no avail. I think it's in his blood. We don't have a large farm, but Hubby's family did.

Which is better, the photo with the tractor or the closeup?

Another tractor shot?

Or the close-up?

Then Pop let's Caden on the BIG tractor.

I love his smile!

Caden loves to make the bucket go up and down!

Tacky Tuesday "Tractor"

Sorry I'm late. With traveling the past 2 days, I was a little jet lag yesterday. This isn't a specific tack picture, but Tacky Tuesdays will be anything that I'll need for horses, tack, trailer, truck, and since we just got a tractor, today is tractor day! We'll be unloading it from the flatbed. More pics on my other blog, Horses Are Our Lives.

Thursday's Treasured Moments "Constructing Tractors"

Makenzie and Caden help putting their tractors together.
Makenzie says "I have my screwdriver too."

Caden says, "Why isn't the steering wheel on?"

Sunday Stills "THE LETTER "T"

(The Sunday Stills Photos are posted on my other blog, Horses are our Lives. I will begin to put the Sunday Stills Photos here on this blog.)

This week’s word for Sunday Stills is the Letter “T”. As I took pictures today, I tried to think of different ways and angles that I could shoot the photos.

Spruce Trees are beautiful. They remind me of my childhood. We always had a Blue Spruce Christmas tree lit for the holidays.

My Trailer takes me and my horses where I want to go. Our rides are in all kinds of terrain, from the flat prairie to the windy hills.

Our old, brown, F250 farm Truck,

And our old Tractors. One ancient yellow tractor,

and one green, an older John Deere.

And our old tractor Tires.

These are the “T” pics that I took as I walked outside today. The day is sunny, but cool 40’s. My hands were chilled as I came in, so I wrapped them around a hot mug of coffee. (But I couldn’t think of a “T” word for that cup of coffee!)
