Hmmm…I better take a photography class. I’m not sure if I’ll get this one right.
Some extra photos that I took that I like are on my other blog, Horses Are Our Lives.
See other Sunday Stills shots here.
Horses in the fading sunlight.
Savannah. I really like this shot!
Posie, watching...
Hubby, fixing the weedwacker string,
a lone kitten.
Lady, watching the kitten.
and then there is this one,
a dead wolf spider, being eaten by ants. I'll show the ants on Macro Monday!
Yuck
I have other photos on my blog, Horses Are Our Lives. Enjoy!

your 1st and 3rd photo are your strongest rule of thirds shots (i saw in your s.s comment you weren't quite sure you were on the right track)

Very well done, you got the rule of thirds down..:-))
Well done. Lordy, you have lots of cats!! :)
yep, agree with Chole! It is easier to see when you have negative space around the main subject as you do in the dog photo
I think you got it figured just fine! I like the barnyard with the dog and kittens- busy place!
Nice shots! They made me smile...
thanks, everyone. I took pictures, then goggled about how I should have taken the pictures. I should have done that first. so, my question is, do you always try to shoot photos using this rule of thirds?
Brenda
Wonderful! The shot of Posie is my fave.Perfect rule of 3rds.

I struggled with this challenge too. You really did well with it!
nice shots, 1st one is prefect fit for our theme. loved the 'lonely kitten' as well. :)
Good job.....keep the spider though;)
Really good shots...except the spider :)
Hi Brenda, Yes, Chloe is correct the rule of thirds is best shown in your first and third photo. A little cropping will help you out..do not be afraid to crop to get the rule down.
No, I do not use the rules of thirds all the time..but most very strong photos that you really like will follow this rule. It is one of the first rules of photography. Practice..practice:)
